4 LOGICALLY DERIVED COMBINATION RULES ALLOW FOR UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES. For the rules and example combinations, see below.

Rules

  1. Seven cards are dealt to each player.

  2. Remaining cards are left face down and become the draw pile.

  3. Dealer draws from the top of the pile and places the first card at the center of the table.

  4. Gameplay begins to the left of the dealer, progressing clockwise.

  5. The player must place a card from their hand to create an approved combination.

  6. If the player cannot place a card, draw from pile. Discard from hand and pass.

  7. If a — DOUBLE INVERSION — is played, the player may take another turn.

  8. If a — CORNER COMBO — is played, all other players draw a card. Note: All adjacent cards in a corner combo MUST be valid individually to the played card.

  9. FIRST TO PLACE ALL CARDS WINS!

Combinations

Now the fun part! There are 4 basic types of combinations:

  1. Single Feature Change

  2. Single Feature Inversion

  3. Double Feature Inversion

  4. Full Feature Change

* A feature is defined as either shape (square, circle, hexagon) or fill (ink, no-ink, stripes).

❶ Single Feature Change

This is the most fundamental rule to the game. The card you place must be the same as the one it’s played against, with only one difference.

❷ Single Feature INVERSION

A “single feature inversion” is performed by swapping either the inner and outer shapes or the inner and outer fill.

❸ DOUBLE Feature inversion

To play a double feature inversion, you swap the inner and outer shapes and the inner and outer fills at the same time.

BONUS: These combos are hard to recognize so the player is rewarded with another turn.

❹ full Feature change

When you have repeated shapes or repeated fills you can change the repeated feature to a new one.
